Problem
VuClip operated on thin margins from advertising and partnership revenue, so the management team decided to create a premium video subscription service to boost revenue and profitability.
Solution
Our team designed and developed VuClip Prime, which is a streaming video service similar to Netflix, HBO NOW and Amazon Prime Video. This Android phone and tablet app enables customers who pay a subscription fee to stream HD movies, TV shows and music videos or download video content for offline viewing.
Results
VuClip Prime created a new revenue stream for VuClip beyond advertising and white-labeled mobile video products. After a closed Beta, VuClip Prime received over 100,000 installs from the Google Play store.
