About Flixster
Flixster is a social movie site and apps for discovering new movies, learning about movies, and meeting others with similar tastes in movies. The site allows users to view movie trailers as well as learn about the new and upcoming movies in the box office.
Problem
Flixster approached CognitiveClouds to do a major overhaul on the UX, Visual design and fresh implementation as the first few versions were bit of spaghetti coding.
Solution
We reimplemented the applications from scratch, refactored all their java APIs for efficiency and helped launch the refresh.
Results
Movies by Flixster on both iOS and Android saw a huge upsurge in downloads and usage albeit huge competition from likes of Netflix.
